Job summary

Life Time Inc. in San Clemente, CA is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to help swimmers improve in our pools. You will write and head Swim Team Group Workouts with the Head Swim Team Coach and assist with registering participants.

This hourly role supports a high-energy aquatic program and a family-friendly environment. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of coaching experience, ASCA and USA Swimming memberships, and Lifeguard certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• Must be ASCA and USA Swimming member.
• Complete Life Time Swim Instructor Certification.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move around the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Lift up to 20 lbs routinely.

Responsibilities

• Offers competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
• Runs daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
• Promotes all Life Time products, services and programs.
