Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Naples, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, guest services, and staff development.

You will assist with merchandising, cash handling, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with prior retail management preferred. Part-time role with opportunities to lead and train store associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing, and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
