Family Dollar in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow, payroll, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

This part-time role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Formación

• Experience managing store operations in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and assist with payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure store is clean and organized.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention efforts.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
