Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development at our Huntington location. You will assist with merchandise organization, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to company directives while maintaining a safe, friendly store environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lead and train Store Associates in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as described in the job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
