Dollar Tree Stores in Kinston, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening and closing procedures.

The role emphasizes coaching Store Associates, maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floor, and ensuring adherence to policies. This position is part-time and involves lifting, standing, and a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
