Family Dollar in Biglerville, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and maintain merchandise layout and seasonal areas.

The role includes opening/closing procedures, processing directives, and supervising Store Associates to ensure a safe, friendly, and efficient shopping environment. Prior retail leadership is preferred; part-time position available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
