Job summary

Family Dollar in Maple Heights, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise associates, ensure merchandise is well organized, and maintain store cleanliness and safety while delivering friendly service.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the capability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment. Part-time position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise and support the team.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and orderly surfaces; protect assets.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and loss-prevention controls.
• Support in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
