Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and climbing
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash receipts
• Maintain neat and stocked store areas
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Ensure store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash removal
• Other duties as assigned
