Job summary

Family Dollar in Gardiner, ME is seeking a part-time associate to support daily store operations and guest service. You will assist with merchandise organization, handle customer inquiries, and help maintain clean, presentable aisles and stockrooms. You may participate in opening/closing duties and follow corporate directives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug stores is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, friendly manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
