Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Isom, KY location. You will help with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and staff.

The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven setting. Part-time position with room for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent may be preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent physical activities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions.
• Organize and stock merchandise from delivery to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and payroll/scheduling records.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing staff.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
