Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, customer service, and team development at our Indiana location. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer care and ensuring a smooth, organized retail environment.

In this role you will assist merchandising, staff coaching, opening/closing procedures, and loss prevention while fostering a safe, friendly shopping atmosphere for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
