Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Store Assistant Manager (F/T) to work with the Store Manager in all store operations. You will guide, develop, and motivate a team of brand advocates to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with Socket.dev's brand values.

You will partner with the Store Manager to implement merchandising, manage inventory and loss prevention, and ensure high standards of customer service. This role requires leadership, organization, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and people coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, inventory, loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to maximize profitability across engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection.
• Create amazing customer experiences through strong client focus and collaboration.
• Partner with the Store Manager to implement visual merchandising directives to sustain brand strategies.
• Ensure appropriate replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Assist in training, operations, inventory management, store administration, and customer service.
• Foster development and accountability within the team.
• Process information or merchandise through the POS system.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
