Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for store front effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
