Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Athol, Idaho to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help supervise and train store associates.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. The position is part-time with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain directives.
• Retail management experience in store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Process directives, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and presentable sales floor.
• Protect assets and ensure compliance with store policies and safety guidelines.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
