Job summary

Mercy Housing’s New Tacoma Senior community in Tacoma, WA seeks an Assistant Property Manager for a part-time, on-site role. The successful candidate will assist the Property Manager with daily operations, manage resident services, and support leasing from application to move-in at an affordable housing site.

The role requires HUD and Tax Credit experience, strong customer service, and the ability to coordinate staff and resident events.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Preferred qualifications include 1 year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of affordable housing/tax credit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.
