Job summary

Mercy Housing in Seattle seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager at Mercy Magnuson Place, an affordable housing community. A solid understanding of HUD and Tax Credit programs is essential, along with delivering excellent resident and visitor service and guiding staff.

This on-site role requires coordinating front desk and maintenance teams, engaging residents, and assisting with leasing, rent collection, and events at Mercy Magnuson Place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience preferred.
• Property management work experience and knowledge of housing laws is a plus.
• Knowledge of real estate property management applications.

Responsibilities

• Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Maintains resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to property needs.
