Job summary

Mercy Housing in San Francisco is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations on-site. You will support resident services, lease processing, and coordination with front desk and maintenance teams to engage residents and manage events.

The ideal candidate has HUD and Tax Credit knowledge, strong customer service skills, and experience with resident ledgers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws.
• Knowledge of real estate property management applications.
• Mandarin/English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assists with resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer services requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.
