Mercy Housing is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join the Property Manager in day-to-day operations of an on-site California property. Strong HUD and Tax Credit experience is essential to ensure compliant, resident-focused service.

You will provide customer service to residents and help coordinate front desk and maintenance activities. Role involves rent collection, leasing from application to move-in, and responding to service requests, with potential after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred experience in administrative, office, or customer service roles.
• Knowledge of local and federal housing laws is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assists with resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.
