Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations in an on-site role at Columbia Park, an affordable housing community in San Francisco. You will assist with leasing, resident services, and accounting tasks under the Property Manager’s guidance.

This position includes a 2-bedroom onsite apartment. The role requires HUD and Tax Credit experience, strong customer service, and coordination with front desk and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver’s license and insurance).
• One year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience preferred.
• Property management work experience and knowledge of housing laws preferred.
• Knowledge of real estate property management applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assists with resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.
