We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll be a key part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, helping fans find their favorite merchandise, and supporting daily operations and sales targets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Assist in store operations, stepping in for leadership support when needed.
• Open and close the store as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Operate the register, process sales, and promote additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with store layout changes, including planograms and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trend updates to management and HQ.
• Work with management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
• Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.
• Contribute to developing a passionate, collaborative team.
• Perform any other duties assigned by your Store Leader.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $17 - $19.55 per hour. The final salary depends on education, experience, location, and other factors.
