Urban Self Storage is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Manager in Tacoma, WA to support daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service. The role is part-time with a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday schedule, averaging ~25 hours per week.

You will assist in store management, manage deposits and customer records, and help achieve occupancy and rental goals while maintaining a safe, clean facility and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, dependable and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Proficient with computers and standard software.
• Retail or customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Keep the property clean, safe and well-maintained.
• Handle customer accounts and delinquency actions.
• Tour storage spaces and assist customers through rental process.
• Manage daily deposits, cash counts and petty cash.
• Collaborate with team and leadership.
• Support occupancy, rental and customer-service goals.
• Deliver excellent customer service via in-person, phone, and email.
• Conduct property walks and security checks.
