Job summary

NIA Community Services Network seeks a Part Time Program Supervisor to help oversee a school-based after-school program at the NIA Main Office in Brooklyn. You will support on-site mental health services and ensure adherence to the established response and referral plan.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, planning events, recruiting and coaching staff, and maintaining safe, compliant program practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Interest in NYS SAC Credential course sponsored by NIA is a plus.
• Experience supervising, coaching, or leading others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of all aspects of a school-based after-school program.
• Support on-site Mental Health services and assist in adherence to the mental health plan.
• Assist in managing daily program operations and coordinate with school staff.
• Help with program planning and logistics, including schedules and supplies.
• Serve as on-site representative and liaise with participants, parents, staff, funders, and community.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching of program staff.
• Conduct classroom observations and report concerns to the Program Director.
• Complete required Mental Health trainings and support inclusion efforts.
• Plan program events and ensure safe operations and compliance with inspections.
• Maintain administrative tasks including time/attendance, files, and reports.
