Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree related to education or youth development.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution and diplomacy skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of a school-based after-school program.
• Manage daily operations and coordinate with school administration and staff.
• Organize program logistics including schedules, lesson plans, snacks, space reservations, trips and supplies.
• Build relationships with school principal and administrative team to integrate NIA staff into the school culture.
• Ensure compliance with DOH and funder regulations and meet contractual obligations (enrollment, participation).
• Maintain attendance data and meet data-entry deadlines in the database.
• Assist in interviewing, training, and coaching of staff and volunteers.
• Conduct classroom observations and evaluate staff performance.
• Maintain time/attendance records, student files, incident reports, and required documentation.
• Review lesson plans weekly and support curriculum map development.
• Participate in school leadership committees and PTA meetings.
• Work with families to meet student needs and foster a strong community.
• Perform additional duties as needed by NIA.
