Job summary

Great Lakes Mgmt Co is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for a 55+ apartment community in Jordan, MN. The part-time role (20 hours weekly) supports leasing, resident relations, and day-to-day operations during regular business hours.

You will assist in leasing processes, tours, and document management, while coordinating work orders and vendor communication to ensure smooth property operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing apartment communities or property leasing environments.
• Familiarity with leasing processes and paperwork.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of apartment floor plans, availability, rates, and features.
• Assist Campus Manager in monitoring client files and lease paperwork.
• Review renewals in RealPage and enter data from residents.
• Assist in tours with prospects and manage waiting list.
• Coordinate work orders and vendor communications with maintenance.
• Inspect common areas and apartments; document inspections.
• Enter completed work orders into RealPage for records.
• Assist in after-hours emergencies and first responders questions.
• Answer rental office phone; inform public about waiting list process.
• Foster positive resident relations and handle complaints.
• Review Rent Roll, Tenant Ledger, and Lease Expiration Reports in RealPage for accuracy.
• Code and submit invoices to GLMC; resolve payables with vendors.
