Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking an on-site interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation at various customer locations.

Under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, you will combine fluent ASL with spoken English to deliver accurate interpretation. Applicants must adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct, demonstrate professional behavior, and are expected to participate in continuing training.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation skills essential.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code knowledge.
• State licensure or credentials as applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers.
