Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking an on-site interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation at various customer locations as needed. Candidates must be fluent in ASL and spoken English and adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

The role is part-time/flex with benefits and potential for flexible scheduling; travel to customer sites may be required. Excellent customer service and professional demeanor are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills are required.
• Accurate interpreting skills are required.
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit professional behavior including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful interaction with colleagues and supervisors, and timely record keeping.
