Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Response) in Dallas, TX. You will patrol and secure the site, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and maintaining equipment in compliance with laws and site procedures. Qualifications include a Texas Level III Armed Certification and at least one year of security experience.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, you will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including an authorized firearm, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
