Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer for a patrol role in Dallas, TX. The position combines vigilant armed presence with customer service, access control, and incident response across a manufacturing/industrial site.

The job requires an armed guard card/license, at least 1 year of armed security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Schedule is set with night shifts and is part-time, offering competitive pay and opportunities with a leading security

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner per post orders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of production areas, offices, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, patrol observations, and access concerns.
