Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Dallas, TX to protect campuses and adjacent facilities. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

The role requires an armed guard license, at least 6 months of security experience, and the ability to work overnight shifts. A background check and drug screening are part of the process, with CPR preferred and a HS diploma or

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
Armed guard card or license required/preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification preferred.
Background check and drug screen required by law.
Must be 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with campus personnel and responders as needed.
Perform regular armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and activity, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents per procedures.
Adhere to professional firearm handling and post procedures in accordance with laws and Allied Universal guidelines.
