Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Alice, TX. This part-time role uses our shift-picking platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, offering hands-on experience across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

You’ll patrol, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and assist visitors while maintaining professional conduct. The position provides growth opportunities within a leading security company and flexible scheduling to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience).
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed) and have a valid driver’s license.
• ArmedGuardCard or licensing may be required by state laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators and manage entrances/exits.
• Observe personnel and ensure proper property removal per client rules.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
