Job summary

Allied Universal in Weslaco, Texas is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver to provide reliable, flexible security coverage and customer service at a designated site. This role also offers the opportunity to increase earnings by taking extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position requires an Armed Guard Card and a Texas Level III certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a fixed or flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or license required.
• Level III Armed Certification required in Texas.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law.
• Minimum age 21 for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the site, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and control entry per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Document observations and report to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
