Job summary

Allied Universal in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role for a part-time schedule. You will perform armed patrols at a retail location, respond to incidents, assist customers and staff, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires an Armed Guard Card or License, Texas Level III Armed Certification, minimum 21 years old, valid driver's license, and a background check. Pay is $14.00 per hour with day and night shifts as listed.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry firearms in compliance with laws and policies.
