Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver in Harlingen, TX. This flexible role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up additional shifts through the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

Pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Eligible candidates will have a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with background and drug screening as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Be available for the scheduled part‑time anchor shifts and the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail location clients, customers, and employees following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, controlled manner and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities, reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations as required.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately in accordance with site procedures.
