Job summary

Allied Universal in Midland, TX is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Response Driver to provide dependable, flexible security coverage at an assigned site. This role offers steady hours, armed duties, and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and follow site procedures while maintaining professional conduct and customer service. A Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, parking lots, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for security concerns including suspicious behavior, access-control issues, theft-related activity, and hazards and report observations.
• Document incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly per Allied Universal procedures.
