Job summary

Allied Universal is looking for an armed Security Officer for part-time enhanced patrol intervention at our Ashburn, VA site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with additional shifts through a scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $26.62 per hour with a Tuesday evening shift from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The position supports part-time schedules up to 40 hours per week and provides opportunities to progress within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and administrators.
• Conduct armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with site leadership.
