Qualifications
- Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Armed guard card or license.
- Valid driver's license per policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Background check in accordance with laws.
- Criminal history considered as allowed by law.
- Drug screen per law.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities.
- Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances following procedures and laws.
- Monitor access points and verify entry permissions, documenting activity.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, and leadership.
