Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Driver Patrol Security Officer in Miami, FL. The role involves protecting government sites, carrying out patrols, and responding to incidents with professional judgment.

A valid armed license, driver’s license, and eligibility for required background checks are essential. You will engage with visitors and staff, maintain visible security presence, and document patrols and incidents in clear reports.

Qualifications

• Armed guard license or card required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• DD214 with honorable discharge or equivalent credential (associate degree/60 credits/police or corrections academy].
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while conducting security procedures at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly and according to protocol.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, report suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear reports documenting patrols and incidents.

Education

Associate degree or 60 college credits
