Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Miami, FL. You will provide armed security, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role offers flexible part-time hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, while staying within regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree, 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Baton certification preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious persons or conditions.
• Maintain a professional armed presence in compliance with laws, licensing, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
