Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background check and drug screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while carrying out security-related procedures at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following post orders.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.
