Job summary

WSP is seeking a Part-Time Experienced Archaeologist with 3–5+ years of field experience for project work in Arizona and New Mexico. You will join the Earth & Environment Cultural Resource Team and support a growing organization delivering solutions that meet client goals.

Successful candidates will work with environmental and heritage resources specialists across the West, taking active roles in fieldwork and data collection for reporting findings, including using digital data tools and IMACS

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, History or related field.
• MS/MA preferred for advanced role(s).
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional level experience in archaeology/historic preservation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Class I–Class III assessments and avoidance recommendations.
• Contribute to heritage/cultural resource investigations in line with NEPA, NHPA, NAGPRA and related laws.
• Travel to project sites in Arizona and New Mexico; per diem provided.
