Job summary

WSP is seeking On Call Archaeology Field Technicians to support survey and mitigation tasks in Arizona and New Mexico. You will work with senior archaeologists and collect digital data for reporting, with per diem provided for travel.

Candidates should have 3+ years of professional archaeological experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel to remote project sites, including camping if needed. This is an hourly, project-based role.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, History or related field.
• MS/MA preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with survey and mitigation tasks (testing, data recovery, monitoring).
• Contribute to fieldwork and data collection for reporting findings.
• Support state IMACS forms and prepare digital data for reporting.
