Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Experienced Archaeologist with 3-5+ years of experience for project work in Arizona and New Mexico. You will work with our Earth & Environment Cultural Resource Team and contribute to fieldwork and reporting initiatives.

The role involves collaborating with environmental and heritage resources specialists, conducting field surveys, collecting and preparing digital data, and complying with relevant laws. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, History or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional level experience researching, analyzing, developing and managing archaeological and historic preservation plans, staff and resources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fieldwork and support collection and preparation of digital data for reporting findings.
• Assist with Class I-Class III assessments and avoidance recommendations while ensuring compliance with NEPA, NHPA, NAGPRA, and other laws.
• Travel to project sites in Arizona and New Mexico; per diem will be provided.
