Job summary

Expansa is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist – Part-Time in The Woodlands, Texas to own invoicing and collections for mobile RO and DI rentals, resin regeneration services, equipment, and related charges. You will protect cash flow by following AR procedures, resolving billing exceptions, and maintaining reliable customer account records.

The role is 20–25 hours per week, primarily office-based with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands on accounts receivable, invoicing, or collections experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field required.
• Ability to interpret invoices, PO funding, and customer account activity.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with accounting/ERP software (Zoho preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review records daily and invoice promptly according to contracts and billing triggers.
• Verify pricing, POs, funding, terms, orders, and documentation before invoicing.
• Maintain unbilled transaction and billing exception logs; escalate discrepancies.
• Issue invoices and statements; prepare credits and rebills; maintain audit trail.
• Review aging and follow up on overdue balances; document collection efforts.
• Record payments (checks, ACH, wires, card) and reconcile balances.
• Provide weekly reports on overdue balances, collections, and billing issues.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, Field Service, and Procurement to fix upstream issues.
