Conditioned Air Company, LLC is seeking an Accounting Clerk/Analyst for the Accounts Receivable team in Naples or Fort Myers on a part-time basis. The role focuses on processing invoices, applying payments, maintaining AR records, and resolving discrepancies, with opportunities to support month-end closes and audits.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years AR experience, strong detail orientation, and solid Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications
• Experience using accounting/financial software preferred
• Ability to handle confidential financial and customer information appropriately

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process invoices for collection
• Prepare and apply customer payments to accounts accurately
• Maintain AR records and customer files
• Review customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies
• Process credit memos and account adjustments to aging reports
• Reconcile customer statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Communicate with customers regarding payment status and inquiries
• Assist with weekly AR and cash reports and schedules
• Support month-end closing and financial audits
• Collaborate with other departments to support accurate financial operations
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
• Perform additional accounting duties as needed to support Finance
