Job summary

Town of Erie is seeking a part-time Manager on Duty for the Erie Community Center aquatics program. The role oversees daily aquatic operations, ensures safety, and provides guest information. Availability on weekends, early mornings, and evenings is preferred.

The position involves supervising staff, conducting safety checks, and responding to emergencies with CPR/First Aid readiness. A high school diploma and current lifeguarding certification are required or obtainable within three months.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required; aquatics experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications are required or obtainable within three months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily aquatic operations and staff scheduling.
• Serve as Manager on Duty; open/close the pool and ensure safety checks.
• Respond to emergencies, perform water rescues, and document incidents.
