Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of related aquatics experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
• Current Lifeguarding certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator-Aquatics, and Aquatic Specialist in performing daily duties of aquatic operations.
• Acts as the Manager on Duty and is responsible for opening and/or closing the pool.
• Ensures facility readiness including pump room and chemical checks, safety supplies and safety checks.
• Provides exceptional guest service and up-to-date information about the pool and department.
• Enforces all rules and policies to ensure guest safety.
• Responds to emergencies, performs water rescues, and administers first aid as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of pool and vicinity and manages chemical levels.
• Completes daily records of patron usage, incidents, rescues, water quality and testing procedures.
