Job summary

Town of Erie is hiring a part-time Manager on Duty for Aquatics at the Erie Community Center. The role covers daily aquatic operations, safety, and guest services, with duties including pool opening/closing and incident reporting.

The position seeks candidates capable of maintaining water quality and supervising lifeguard staff. Ideal applicants have at least 18 years of age, a high school diploma or GED, and an interest in aquatics; CPR/First Aid/AED and Lifeguarding certifications are required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related aquatics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily aquatic operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty; open/close the pool.
• Ensure safety and guest service; enforce rules.
• Perform safety checks and monitor chemical levels.
• Maintain daily records of patron usage, incidents and water quality.
