Gilead Community Services in New Britain, CT seeks a recovery-oriented Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide MAT, psychiatric, cooccurring and ongoing medication management in our 16 hours per week program.

This non-union, part-time position offers flexible scheduling with options for two full clinic days or several shorter sessions; a per diem APRN option is also considered. You will perform evaluations, prescribe medications, coordinate care, and ensure thorough documentation.

Formación

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years clinical experience in mental health and addictions with MAT exposure.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Provides psychiatric care by overseeing and prescribing medications for behavioral health and substance use disorders.
• Conducts psychiatric evaluations and Mental Status Exams for new and ongoing clients.
• Makes referrals for acute, chronic and preventive behavioral/medical care.
• Performs follow-ups, orders labs and imaging as indicated, and documents thoroughly.
• Coordinates care with nurses, clinicians, case management and other agencies.
• Ensures compliance with DMHAS, CARF and DPH regulations and organizational standards.
• Supports recovery-oriented processes for staff, clients and community development.
• Consults with psychiatrists regarding medical and mental health needs and risk management.
