Job summary

Tecta America in Ohio (Tiffin) is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Coordinator to support AP functions with accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

The role includes matching invoices to POs, entering data in DocuWare, preparing payments, reconciling statements, and serving as the main contact for inquiries. Flexible hours and a friendly office environment are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of accounting, AP and GL.
• Strong keyboarding skills and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices by matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies, and assigning appropriate general ledger and sales/use tax codes.
• Enter, maintain, and manage invoice and payment information within the accounting system and DocuWare, ensuring accurate records and organized documentation.
• Prepare invoices for payment, process accounts payable disbursements, and reconcile vendor statements, store accounts, receipts, and posted transactions.
• Monitor and maintain accounts payable records and workflows, including shared inbox management, document routing, filing, and follow-up on missing receipts or supporting documentation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and vendors regarding invoice status, payment inquiries, and documentation issues.
