Job summary

Jet Parts Engineering LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a personable, customer service oriented Accounting Specialist to support a private equity owned aerospace company. This part-time temporary role covers accounts receivable, credit management, accounts payable, and related tasks within a finance team.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience, a BA in business/finance/accounting preferred, and solid Excel/Word/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook required; ERP experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable: receipts, cash application, invoice posting, collections and credit management.
• Accounts payable: invoice entry, three-way matching, payment processing.
• Assist with internal and external financial and tax audits and documentation.
• Participate in other accounting duties as needed across the department.
